A quick trip to NY

This March I was able to join my Mom for a quick trip to NY to visit family.  I have never been to the farm in the winter before, and it was really nice to see everything at a different time.  We packed quite a bit of visiting into just a few days, and it was so nice catching up a bit with the NY cousins.

Aunt Carol's house in winter.

While we were there the robins returned!

Sisters!

Mom, Aunt Carol and Uncle Tom on St. Patrick's day.
It was still technically winter, but it was so warm that every single day we were greeted by more flowers!
We stayed at the Clark House, a B&B that was once a boarding house where Mom's Mom lived when she was a teacher.
Next door to the Clark House, the Old Stone Schoolhouse where Mom's Mom taught.

Aunt Carol had so much fun reading aloud to us from this book.
Walking down to the farm... Aunt Carol wanted to tidy up the forest!

After dropping Mom off at the airport I had one more night to spend in NYC.  I walked and shopped and ate, and topped the night off with Wicked.  What a nice way to end my time in NY!
