Day 2 started off at the Accra resort. We have a membership that allows us to use the pools and beach there, and I am sure it will be something we do with all of our guests.
| The beautiful Accra pool and swim up bar. |
Accra Beach...
| John and Annie riding with the instructors and the boards. |
| Our instructor, Junior, showing us on dry land what we needed to do to catch a wave. |
| And we've all got it! No Problem, right? |
| Yup, no problem at all... Annie was Junior's favourite student ever! |
| And John wasn't so bad himself. |
| End of the lesson, after 2 hours battling the surf carrying the surfboard up the cliff was no problem! |
| The surfers with Junior, after an exhausting lesson! |
To finish the day we ended up at the Surfer's Bay Bar and Grill, a new favourite of ours. Every night they have a camp fire on the beach, and they have a big grassy area for the kids to run around on. The views are amazing, with waves crashing over tide pools, but the sunset was just obscured by the clouds which was too bad.
| Annie and Sarah at Surfer's Bay |
| Ryan loved the tire swing... |
| But this one that Uncle John just carried around was pretty fun too! |
