The headlines this morning confirmed what we saw in our backyard. The rain started in earnest last night around 2:00 a.m., and didn't really let up until well after 9:00. I don't remember the water getting this high even during Tomas last year, but I could be wrong about that.
Here is a video that shows a little better how fast the water was moving through our yard.
The audio isn't very good, but basically it is just Conor and me talking about how the golf course behind us is a lake, and our neighbor's backyard looks worse than ours.
