A few things

The only two pictures I have from Thanksgiving, don't really do the holiday justice!  This was our version of a kids table, which was necessary because we invited some friends over to join us for our celebration.  One of our friends is from Japan, and this was her first Thanksgiving meal.  She said she enjoyed it, and she even ate quite a bit, but I have to believe that much of it was very strange for her!

And here are a few pictures from our recent visit to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum

Do you think the "please touch" sign really meant please sit on me?

They have a bug zoo inside the museum where there is a nice volunteer who lets kids observe up close and even hold different bugs.  Ryan enjoyed holding a millipede (something he could do every day in Barbados!) and Conor took a turn with an interesting caterpillar.

Ryan loved this exhibit which showed places in a house where different bugs live.  When you push a button with information about a bug, lights turn on in the display to show where they live around us.  Not sure why he loved it so much, but he really didn't want to leave!
