We just got back from our family trip to Disney World, and we had a wonderful time. We spent 6 nights at the Port Orleans Riverside resort and had a chance to visit all of the Disney parks. Here are some pictures from our first day at the Magic Kingdom, and a "character meal" at Chef Mickey's where Conor and Ryan got to meet many of the classic Disney characters, and Micky Mouse himself made us dinner! Some highlights from these days were exploring the world showcase and all of the hands-on science exhibits at EPCOT and seeing the Magic Kingdom through Ryan's eyes. Conor loved designing his own roller coaster and getting to "ride" it in a simulator at EPCOT and Ryan was in awe just about the whole time. He loved the Winnie the Poo ride, Small World, Peter Pan and the Speedway. He enjoyed but was a little worried by the Astro Orbiter and Pirates of the Caribbean. And he was just pretty much confused by the Jungle Cruise. We were also there on a few very cold days and we all enjoyed some of the shows like the Country Bear Jamboree (another confusing one for Ryan) and Mickey's Philharmagic, where Ryan tried desperately to touch the 3D effects he could see floating in front of his face!
