Bread, bread and more bread

After a mix up with a King Arthur Flour order left me with far too much flour on hand I decided I really should be making our own bread, and I am loving it! In the last week I have made 4 french baguette loaves, three round whole wheat loaves, a white sandwich loaf and two sourdough loaves. While we have all been doing our best to keep up with this over abundance of bread in the last two days I have resorted to giving loaves away to (so far) very happy friends. Here are some pictures of the pretty bread, and the boys enjoying it...


This is Conor's perfect after school snack. Cut up baguette with really yummy balsamic vinegar for "dipping sauce" and a sliced apple. Yum!

The only problem? Ryan likes it too! Only Ryan could make eating an after-school snack a contact sport!
