Conor's class fieldtrip to the Shanghai Botanical Gardens

Last week I volunteered to go along on a field trip with Conor's class. We had a great time, and the Shanghai Botanical Gardens did not disappoint!
There were lots of parent volunteers so together with another mom I got to walk around the gardens with Conor and two of his best friends from his class, Ronnie and Yotah
As soon as we entered the gardens they all hugged a tree...

Then they were scared by a spider and made friends with some ants!
This was a strange display, but the boys had fun posing in it...



and later in the day when we were leaving we saw these people taking their wedding pictures.

Here the boys are walking over a beautifully decorated bridge... and running in more open space than any of them had seen in a while!
