Amercan Baseball!

Nancy and Jerry very generously invited us to join them in a box to see a San Diego Padres game! Conor very vaguely remembers going to some games while we lived in Virginia. Once when he was in Kindergarten (and I was heavily pregnant with Ryan) we saw the Nationals, and once when he was in 6th grade and Ryan was in Kindergarten we went to an Orioles game. Ryan doesn't remember it though, so we jumped at the chance to have this truly American experience, and we had a great time! Nancy is a Padres superfan, so she was the perfect tutor, helping us to understand the players and get more out of the game. 

Not being used to sports stadiums, we found ourselves protecting our ears far more often than anyone else around us. Actually I didn't notice anyone else with this problem so maybe it's an "us" issue.
