Taking the kids to national parks was a big reason for our driving across the country this year, so of course we needed to visit Yellowstone.
The falls at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.
A different view of the falls from the other side of the canyon.
We happened to be in Yellowstone for the eclipse, so we got to experience a 98% totality eclipse! The kids weren't all that impressed because it didn't ever get really dark, but it did get noticeably cooler at the peak, and having eclipse glasses meant we could watch the progress of the moon across the sun which was cool.
The obligatory "driving past the bison" pic!
Another picture of the falls from my early morning run.
Elk out in the early morning as well.
