What a summer this was! The boys and I arrived in California a few weeks before Greg. We bought a car, visited John, Sue and families, Nana & Papa, and Amy and family, dropped Conor off at Stanford, and then once Greg joined us we settled down a bit in Big Bear to relax a bit. The pictures are a crazy mix from the visits, but I will start with some pictures from hiking around our house in Big Bear.
Almost every year we make it to the Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley, and this year Ryan and I were able to go with Amy, Corina and Mitchell.
Hanging out at sunset waiting for 4th of July fireworks over the lake.
Family walk up to Castle Rock in Big Bear. We love this walk, and the views from the top are amazing!
At the National Park Service Discovery Center.
Relaxing on the deck.
Scout got a new car seat, greatly simplifying car trips for the remainder of the summer!
I love the clouds in the desert. Out running in the early morning at the Prime Desert Preserve, the clouds were beautiful.
Berry picking with Sarah, Miok and Sue near Santa Barbara was so much fun. Three pails of delicious blueberries lasted a month! Conor forgot his hat, so Aunt Sue let him borrow on of hers... it made quite the fashion statement!
