Spring visitors

Yay for more visitors!

Judy, Jim and Karen all visited us this March, and we were able to get out a bit with them. Judy and Jim went to Leh and Ledak in northern India on their own, a place we wished we had time to visit but just never did. Karen went off on her own to Dharamshala and we met her there for a few days, and of course we did the normal around Delhi sight seeing with them all as well. They also all went to the Taj Mahal, but not together, and met each other for a day in Jaipur. Thank you so much to both Judy and Karen for sharing their pictures with us!

I was glad to be able to visit Dharamshala with our guests, and to get a bit of birding in with everyone. Birding definitely offers a good excuse for a long walk!

This early morning walk was a beautiful stroll through the hills surrounding the town of Mcleod Gunj... right up to the very end when our guides took us straight through the town dump to get back up to the road. Ah, India, you will never cease to surprise and challenge me!

A nice break at a crepe place in town. Some surprises are better than others!
