Catching up a bit

It has been forever since I posted, but we really have been enjoying being back in the states!  The kids absolutely love living in the Oakwood Apartments, where they have friends to play with all the time and life is pretty easy when there is a Target, Trader Joes and Giant all within two miles!

Ryan's school has an "outdoor classroom" and we all worked on a Saturday afternoon to winterize the beds, distribute the compost that they had made, and clean up the fall leaves.

Falls Church is such a great city, and the local Fire Department had an open house day where they let the kids all climb inside and check out a real fire engine.  Ryan was in heaven!
