This morning the infants division at Providence Elementary (ages 3 - 6) put on their school play, an adapted version of the children's book The Gruffalo. Each class dressed up as one of the animals in the story and performed a dance inspired by the events of the book. The Gruffalos performed "Thriller", the owls performed the chicken dance (although Ryan insists it is the bird dance NOT the chicken dance!), the snakes performed a conga line to Gloria Estafan's "Conga", and the victorious mice danced to "Can't Touch This"... shuffle and all! The teachers certainly had a great time putting this one together!
The owls after their dance.
All of the kids.
Ryan and his best friend Caylin after their performance.
My favourite owl.
