Amy and Family visit Day 1

We have our latest set of visitors now, and they have hit the ground running.  Despite Amy having arrived feeling a bit under the weather, we all went out on a Catamaran yesterday for an afternoon/evening sail.  We all saw tons of sea turtles (Ryan counted 22 from the side of the boat, but he refused to go swimming with them) and many colourful fish.  We snorkeled around a sunken barge (artificial reef), as well as some natural coral reefs.  We also got to experience a beautiful sunset, and stayed out past full dark when the stars came out.  As we were coming back into the dock some flying fish were jumping right off the side of the boat... what a wonderful last-minute treat to see!

A restful moment with Mom.
A not-so-restful moment with Dad!

Conor learning how to make a big splash from Greg... it's important that dads pass on these types of important skills to their sons!

Turtles!!!  Greg took some underwater pictures of his new watch, which show just how close the turtles are.  Everyone who swam with them got close enough to touch at least one.  These are hawksbill sea turtles which hang out in the waters around Barbados year-round.

One of the best places on a catamaran is the netting at the front of the boat. It's perfect for a dance party!

Conor at sunset.  He sure seems at home out at sea.
A rare picture of all four of us.

The boys at sunset... what a great day!
