Out on Calypso

A few weeks ago we went out with a group from the embassy on a small catamaran called the Calypso.  This was its maiden voyage after being nearly destroyed in Hurricane Tomas in 2010 and everything went beautifully.  It was a picture perfect day, breezy and not too hot, with puffy white clouds in the sky.
Conor on the front canopy, just getting started.
We sat here and watched the water for interesting fish as the catamaran zipped over the water.
And when we got tired of watching the fish we turned over and watched the clouds roll by.
Happy people!

This was Conor's first time truly snorkelling.  He has gone out before and used goggles, but never wanted to master the snorkel before.

First time in and this is what he gets to see!
This is why its nice to have an underwater camera living here!

Enjoying a smoothie with Dad on our way to another snorkel spot.

Conor enjoying another great spot on Calypso.
Lazy people!

Our second spot was a shipwreck (you can sort of see the dark outline of it in this picture) to swim with some fish.
