Today was Ryan's first day at Providence Elementary. He woke up and asked "how old am I now?" He was a bit confused about why he would be going to a school for "big kids" if he was still 3, but I think I finally cleared that up. Here are some pictures of Conor and Ryan at home and at school...
The school day started with the principle, Mr. Sheedy, welcoming the new students. They stood up at the front of the assembly as the students prayed that they would feel welcome and that Providence would provide a nurturing and loving place for them to learn and to grow.
After the prayer Mr. Sheedy asked them if they would like to sit with their classes or stay up front with him. Two decided to sit down, but Ryan and one other little girl stuck with him...
