Birthday weekend at the Crane Resort

On my birthday weekend this year Greg surprised me with a stay at a local resort called the Crane. It is widely thought of as one of the nicest, most beautiful resorts in the Caribbean. In fact, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous ranked the Crane beach "one of the top ten beaches in the world!" While we don't normally roll with the LotR&F crowd, it was a very nice weekend, and the resort definitely lived up to its reputation.

We stayed in a beautiful suite, with our own penthouse terrace and private pool! Here are some pictures from the weekend.

First, here we are in our private pool. We spent so much time in the water this weekend, I am surprised we aren't permanently pruned.

Here we are at the main pool where there was a "kiddie" side that was only about 1 1/2 ft deep which was perfect for playing games and running around with Ryan. Ryan also enjoyed "swimming" on his own in the deep side when we tied a noodle around him!

We had lunch at this very nice poolside restaurant with a gorgeous view!

Conor was swimming with Ryan on his back... good thing the pool was only about 1 1/2 ft deep!

We played chase and catch and just about every game you can imagine that involves a ball and a noodle...

I think these pictures speak for themselves... we all had a wonderful time!!!

And after a long day in the pools, there's nothing like sitting back with some TV and a game!
