While riding my stationary bike the other day I noticed this little bananaquit making a nest outside my window. I watched it work away for about an hour, then checked back throughout the day. They are nesting there now, but are very busy little birds and continue to work on their house every day. It is so fun to watch... definitely gives me something to take my mind of the ride.
This is my bike by the window...the nest is right next to it!
And this little nest showed up right outside our front window. There are two little speckled eggs inside so we should have some new mouths to feed soon!
