Roots and Shoots

Conor has joined the Roots and Shoots group at his school, and is learning lots of things about plants and the environment. The first week the group met it was written up in his school paper, with two pictures of Conor! Here is a link to the school paper, and the article on R & S is on the last page.

He and the others are "planting" one piece of garbage each week. At the end of the term they will dig it all up again and compare and contrast how natural items such as paper or food scraps have changed vs. plastic and glass.
