Poetry Reading

Ryan has been sick this week, just the sniffles but it has prevented me from putting more stuff on the blog. I have a few posts I am working on from the last few weeks but this one will be quick and easy to upload.












These are pictures from a poetry reading at Conor's school... and Conor had a "solo" part! The second graders read their poems first, and after they were done one of them said something like "I wonder if any of the other classes like poetry." Conor jumped up and said "Hey first graders like poetry too!" Then he looked at his classmates and said "Want to read them some?" to which they enthusiastically replied "Yeah!!!!"

He told me that he got the speaking part because he was the best "rememberer" and he could speak the loudest without sounding like he was screaming or yelling. (Aren't we lucky!)
