Greg and I took Ryan to YuYuan Gardens a while back, and I still hadn't gotten any pictures online... so here they are. YuYuan is a very popular shopping area in Shanghai which surrounds a beautiful garden that dates back to 1559. The picture of me and Ryan was taken by the entrance to the garden, by a tea house that is in the center of a little lake. There are also a few pictures Greg took of some of the old buildings that now have curio shops and restaurants. It was very crowded even though we went on a weekday. I can't imagine going there on a weekend, or even worse a local holiday. You wouldn't be able to move! It was nice to see the shops though, and it looks like a great place to find bargains if you are willing to haggle... which I am slowly getting better at.
